Tenerife offers an incredible variety of landscapes for individual couple sessions. Each place feels different, each atmosphere unique – which makes the island a perfect setting for authentic couple portraits.
For this session, I traveled with Noun and Erik to Masca, a small, historic village tucked into the mountains on Tenerife’s west coast. As we gained elevation, the scenery slowly changed: more vegetation, steeper slopes and a sense of calm that settles in almost unnoticed.
The surrounding mountains gently guided the setting sun toward our location. We chose a spot near a striking rock formation – a well-known landmark in the area – and waited patiently until the last tourists had left, allowing the place to return to its natural stillness.

In that quiet moment, everything softened. Without rush or expectations, Noun and Erik moved naturally together. Between laughter and intimate pauses, their connection became visible in the smallest gestures – honest, warm and deeply affectionate.
The golden evening light wrapped the entire scene in warmth, highlighting the tenderness between them. Palms, rugged mountain slopes and the hazy glow of sunset created an almost timeless atmosphere.
This couple session in Masca reflects the essence of my work: photographing people as they feel with each other. Calm, authentic and grounded in trust. Especially with couple portraits – regardless of gender or constellation – true depth emerges when nothing has to be performed and space is given for real connection.

These images are memories of a moment defined by closeness, ease and warmth. A couple session in Tenerife can be exactly that: a pause, a shared breath, preserved in the light of the setting sun.
