A Store Worth Staying In
The starting point for this campaign was never just the shoe. It was everything surrounding it.
Desenrasco works with footwear handmade in Portugal — pieces created with craftsmanship, material knowledge and the intention to be worn for more than a single season. But the brand itself goes further than the product.
A visit is allowed to take time.
Time to look through different styles, feel the leather, compare a sole, ask questions and find the pair that actually feels right. Time for a coffee, a slice of homemade cake or something from the kitchen, served on handcrafted tableware. Time for conversation that has nothing to do with rushing towards the next transaction.
That idea became Step and Stay.
Rather than building the campaign around isolated product photographs, the visual story follows the experience of being there. Someone arrives, starts exploring, picks up a shoe and examines its details. A team member joins the conversation. Different pairs are tried on, compared and seen in the mirror.
And somewhere between choosing shoes and sharing food around the table, the store becomes more than a backdrop.
The photography moves between craftsmanship, people and atmosphere. Close-ups reveal leather, stitching and construction, while wider frames give space to the conversations and small moments surrounding them.
Because what makes Desenrasco distinct is not only what sits on the shelves.
It is how the brand makes choosing something well made feel.
